WHAT

Voices of Transition: Capturing Migration Stories and Shaping Policy in Rosarno

A three-day event where you will work in teamsmeeting with people from a migrant background, interviewing them, and recording their meaningful stories.

 

Your task will be to adapt their words into a digital testimony and expand it with photographs and/or a two-minute audio or video recording!

HOW

You will explore…​

  • The history of the third (1990s-2000s) and fourth (2000s-2010s) phases of European migration

  • Storytelling and photography in a dynamic workshop

  • Living libraries: An innovative method of dialogue

  • Content creation sessions + Audiovisual festival: Get creative!

  • Cultural activities: You will join cultural and fun activities in Rosarno's surrounding cities.

Read the Call for Applications to have all the details beforehand

Complete the Application Form by 20 June at 23:59 (Brussels Time). The selection will be made on a rolling basis, so hurry up!

The final results will be announced at the end of June (if you applied early, you’ll have them before!)

 

Once your selection is confirmed by EucA, you must confirm your participation by sending us your transportation tickets - we will reimburse you up to 150 EUR in travel expenses after your successful participation in the event.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

INCLUDED

  • You are covered for the three nights of the event! You will stay in a shared room with other young participants in a hotel provided and paid for by the organizers.

  • Travel expenses up to 150 EUR. You will need to send us your tickets/proof of purchase. Your reimbursement will arrive after the celebration of the event. (Any questions? Write us at students@euca.eu)

  • You will be provided with breakfasts, all lunches, coffee and snacks during the breaks, and one dinner with the rest of the participants.

  • All trainings, workshops, and international certificate.

  • Extra nights at the hotel.

  • Additional travel expenses

The events will be held in English and in person. No remote participation is possible.
