Our Democracy needs a vote like a sword needs a whetstone! To make our democracy sharp and powerful against its enemies, people must participate and vote!
Are you the knight who will fight this battle to defend Democracy?
Come and join your fellows to fight for this common cause in our “Game of Thrones” event in Dubrovnik!
Dubrovnik, Croatia, is a wonderful city on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. There, you and 90 fellow young students coming from 15 European countries will take part in the three-day event on 25-28 April 2024.
FORMAT
GUERRILLA MARKETING
Become a true guerrilla marketer and be ready to push your abilities to their limit in order to raise awareness of the importance of civic engagement. Show the world that young people vote too!
In this event, you will take part in a series of challenges focused on the topic of EU policies and EU Elections. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to learn about guerrilla marketing from true experts and professionals.
TOPICS
REMOVING BARRIERS TO YOUNG VOTING

Work in teams to produce content on active citizenship and the importance of democracy.

Challenge yourself to create excellent video content and record short videos to be published on social media

Have the opportunity to meet people coming from any corner of Europe and exchange ideas, visions, cultures, and languages.

Have an impact on the European Elections 2024: your videos will make young Europeans more interested in voting and engaged in the democratic interplay.

Applications are OPEN for students living in Dubrovnik and its surrounding area!
Here is what you should do to join:

Send us your application by completing this Google form.

Once your selection is confirmed by EucA, you need to book and pay autonomously for your means of transport to Dubrovnik. As mentioned before, international students will be reimbursed with up to 150 EUR for their travel expenses after their successful participation in the event.

The event will be held in English in person. No remote participation is possible.

Once your selection is confirmed by EucA, you need to book and pay autonomously for your means of transport to Dubrovnik. We will reimburse you up to 150 EUR after your successful participation in the event.

We cover students’ accommodation for the three nights of the event (25, 26 and 27 April): you will stay in shared rooms with other attendees in an accommodation provided and paid for by the organizers (Akademis Academia, Dubrovnik). Extra nights in Dubrovnik must be booked and paid for by you independently from the organizers. Participants already living in Dubrovnik won't have their accommodation covered.
