Welcome to "Bridging Past and Present for a More Integrated Society: International Conference & Multicultural Festival in Rosarno"
The last VOICES event is a four-day experience bringing together engaged young people, civil society actors, and migrant citizens - all on a mission to share, connect, and build bridges!
Over the past months, you have travelled across Europe collecting testimonies from migrant people, building a powerful archive of lived experiences, and learning from them to transform storytelling into knowledge. Now, it’s time for the final chapter.

Prepare for action!
-
You will present and explore different migration realities, exchange innovative ideas on integration, and co-create recommendations at local and European levels.
-
Through the project's audiovisual exhibition and dynamic role-play simulations inspired by real EU decision-making processes, you won’t just debate Europe’s future, you will actively shape it!
Prepare for celebration!
-
During the Multicultural Festival, you will join migrant communities coming together to celebrate the richness cultural diversity brings to society.
-
Surrounded by friends, food, music, and vibrant energy, you will meet in the intersection where differences become dialogue, traditions meet, and diversity turns into connection.

WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?
An immersive experience into the heart of a town fighting for inclusion and community belonging in the face of migration challenges.

An audiovisual exhibition showcasing the heartfelt impact of the project in the lives of Rosarno’s citizens, featuring the stories you collected during VOICES’ second event!

A BACKGROUND OF IMPACTFUL CHANGE
Your work in interviewing migrant communities and translating their needs and experiences into concrete political recommendations has truly borne fruit. This is your chance to celebrate this milestone and take pride in the excellent work you have accomplished together!

Alongside the student activities, the event will host a landmark International Conference. On 23 May, Italian policymakers and local authorities will gather with an important mission: to present and adopt the Local Action Plan Against Racism and for Integration.
The Action Plan marks an unprecedented achievement, not only for the political representatives, but for all the international students who helped shape it through their commitment, curiosity, and integrity.
